Trials and tribulations of software development…
As of today I have officially joined Adobe as a full-time Flash Platform Technical Evangelist! This isn’t a huge change for me in that I’ve actually been doing work as a contractor for various groups within Adobe since 2004, with the last 3 years specifically for Greg Wilson’s Platform Evangelism team, but I’m very excited about my decision to now take on a full-time role with the team and look forward to becoming even more fully engaged overall! I’ve always been passionate about the work that I do and supportive of Adobe, fully believing in the technology and find this to be a natural fit for me. You will see me continue to enable developers and reach out to the community in this role through various means including blogging, continued support of the developer tools I’ve worked on (Tour de Flex, AIR Launchpad etc) plus additional speaking engagements. I’ve been fortunate to have met some of the brightest, most interesting people at Adobe while contracting over the years and look forward to working with a top-notch company!
